Serving vulnerable communities impacted by war, conflict & disaster through relief, education, and psychosocial support
We give practical help through aid/assistance, demonstrating to the vulnerable & suffering that they are not forgotten but valuable and loved.
Through trainings, we offer understanding and tools to help those suffering emotionally from present or past crises recover from trauma, regain strength and build resilience.
We come alongside people through programs & projects to share joy and practice new skills that help people move towards wholeness.
By using the creative arts, our dramatherapy team supports the healthy psychosocial development of children impacted by war and displacement.
Syrian refugee children face many barriers in accessing quality education. Here’s how we are helping a refugee community serve the next generation.
When Kurdish soldiers are killed in battle, many of their families are left without a breadwinner. We walk with families who are grieving and struggling to survive.
Through trainings and resources, we provide support to the wider community of aid workers who suffer burnout, high-stress, & compassion fatigue.
Jordan & his wife Jessica first came to Iraqi Kurdistan in 2014 to care for Syrian Refugees and stayed to help during the ISIS Crisis. In 2016 they felt called to return as a family in order to care for refugee and internally displaced communities in Iraq. Through their organization Whole Heart International, they have run sports programs, relief projects, CPR & first aid training, and now Drama Therapy Programs in refugee/IDP camps.
