This is my fourth year coaching our local girls’ and boys’ basketball teams, and I’ve seen firsthand how much these kids can grow when given the chance. They have so much potential—not just as athletes, but as leaders and teammates. Your support helps provide the opportunities, equipment, and encouragement they need to keep developing their skills and confidence. Over the past couple of years, our teams have had great success, bringing home 1st and 2nd place finishes in tournaments. This year, our goal is to be number one in Erbil, Iraq—and with more support, we know we can get there. Access to proper courts and quality equipment will help our players train harder, play better, and reach their full potential.
We have several needs as a team including a covered space to play during the winter time, equipment, and Fees for games/refs/buses. We are looking for team sponsors, and even looking to how our teams can travel for the first time outside of the city and or the country. Team Sponsorship would boost our team to the next level physically and mentally.
Our team is made up of French speaking, local Kuridsh, Iraqi, Lebanese, American kids. We have a great mix of cultures and the children use basketball as their commonalty to connect and build relationship.
